SALT LAKE CITY, UT (September 2007) - Williamsen Manufacturing, a Salt Lake City-based fabrication and heavy manufacturing company, has been awarded an exclusive trailer manufacturing contract with Eagle Precast, to design and build pre-stress concrete beam trailers that will service the Legacy Parkway Highway project for the State of Utah.
Williamsen Manufacturing was selected to design and build specialized concrete beam transport trailers. The trailers will be used to support a visionary highway project known as Legacy Parkway, the first element of an overall Legacy Highway concept extending from Brigham City to Nephi.
Eagle Precast, a division of Heidelberg Cement Group, which is the largest pre-stress beam manufacturer in the world, selected Williamsen Manufacturing based on its historic performance and competency to design and build technical trailers. The trailers will be used to transport heavy pre-stressed beams for the construction of Legacy Parkway and other ongoing heavy-equipment projects for Eagle Precast.
"This is a monumental trailer project that will showcase our design and fabrication ingenuity as a company. We are optimistic that these custom-built trailers will surpass all expectations required to support this historic transportation project for the State of Utah," commented Mike Bills, Chief Executive Officer of Williamsen Manufacturing.
