SALT LAKE CITY, UT (October 14, 2008) - Williamsen Manufacturing, a Salt Lake City-based fabrication and heavy manufacturing company, has been awarded a $12.3 million contract by Hill Air Force Base. Hill Air Force Base is located in Ogden, Utah, 30 miles north of Williamsen Manufacturing.
Under the terms of the three-year contract, Williamsen Manufacturing will design and fabricate trailer systems to carry Minuteman missiles for the 536th Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Group.
"Our management and valued employees understand the significance this project will provide for our facility, our local economy, the state of Utah and the country," said Williamsen Manufacturing CEO Mike Bills.
Williamsen Manufacturing COO Troy Hooton added, "This project solidifies our partnership in supporting the heroic efforts of the United States military. This endeavor represents an opportunity for Hill Air Force Base and other military and government entities to experience the successful heritage of Williamsen Manufacturing."
